Stalking

Stalking is when a person follows and watches another persons every move. This can include following them when they are walking or driving somewhere, checkig someones texts or emails and even simple things such as checking a persons profile on facebook for example.

Every person can or does stalk a person in some way, especially if you are set up on any social networks, such as facebook. This is because by doing this you are giving others access to personal information about yourselves and even what you are doing. Everyone who are part of a social network checks other people profiles and is completely inocent.

But some people do take things further by monitoring a persons every move and checking up on them every chance they get which can get creepy.

smoking!

Everyone has different views on smoking depending on whether they are a smoker themselves or not. I am a smoker and have been for around 7 years but have quit twice withong the last 3. Despite all the things people say about smoking such as the health risks ans how it affects your body, none of this really ever make me think ' I need to quit'. Personally I cant see myself quiting anytime soon as at the moment it is mainly a socail thing for me as when i see any of my friends we will sit and have a fag. Until i know of someone who becomes ill or even dies from something which was linked to smoking I cant see anything making me want to quit for good.

Infidlity

I cant seem to understand why people cheat and how people can make excuses for doing because in my opinion there isnt a reasons or excuse for why someone would cheat on their partner. The most common excuse you here for someone cheating is 'I was drunk' and think they can get away with it without hurting anyone, when actually it does. There must be a reason behind someone wanting or even being to bring themself to cheat on their partner which can ony show if you are able to hurt someone in this way do you really care for them as much as you think.

A lot of people who have affairs normally find it 'exciting' as theres always that feeling knowing they could get caught. But then after they have the guilt of knowing that if their partner finds out how hurt they are going to be.

lies!

Telling lies is something everyone does or has done at some point of their life whether it being a little white lie to even a a very big lie. Personally I dont see the problem with small lies as long as people dont get hurt due to them but there are times where there is no need to lie.

There are many lies i can think of that we are told as a child, the main ones include Father Christmas and the Tooth Fairy. This leaves me think why is it we choose to tell these lies to children?

Tattoos and Body Modification

The lecture on tattoos and body modification really shocked me. I dont have any problem with people modifying their bodies in anyway as i have piercings myself and would really like to get a tattoo done, but seeing what some people had got done seemed a bit too much.

I do think piercings and tattoos look really nice, but at the same time i do think some people can take it a bit over the top. For example when people cover themselves head to foot in them like i the photo below. I really dont think it looks good at all when people do this but everyone has their own opinion and a choice to do what they want with their own bodies.

People choose to modify their bodies for many reasons such as for simple reasons like wanting it done it done because they like it and how they will look on them or even religous reasons.

Another reason why people choose to be modify their bodies is to be different from others. Some people may choose to take this further than others. For example the man in the picture above to the right had surgery and modified his body so that he looked like a cat. My opinion is that its taking a bit too far and doesnt look right, but like I said everyone has different opinions.

Week 12 field trip

I think we should go to a tattoo parlor so i can finaly get a tattoo done an Hannah can have hers finished!!
